Join Vegas Golden Knights skills coach Scott Jones and Bedford Minor Hockey's current Hockey Development Professional Andre Lefebvre and their staff of highly trained coaches as they help players learn new skills and improve existing ones at a hockey school like no other. In addition to daily in-depth instruction with Andre and his team, players will have at least one practice each day with Scott Jones.
Players will focus on improving their skills in a supportive environment, with professional coaches!
Join us for hockey skill development with an emphasis on skating, puckhandling and shooting, in a fun environment.
The Evolution Hockey School is entirely about skill development with a focus on:
- Skating - balance, edges, agility, stride and crossovers
- Stickhandling, puck protection, passing and shooting to score
- Small area games to incorporate the skills being taught
Players receive 3 hours of on-ice instruction plus two off-ice sessions every day. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, players will receive 2 hours of on-ice instruction and will also play a game at the end of the day.
Off-ice sessions will consist of presentations on topics such as:
- Sports nutrition for elite athletes
- Sports psychology
- Video analysis
Off-ice sessions will also incorporate activities such as:
- Yoga
- Floorball
- Plus other extracurricular activities
Players will be responsible for their own water/snacks/lunch each day.
The cost is $799.00 and it will be held July 15-19 (5 days) at the RBC Centre in Dartmouth, NS.
