For 2025 we are pleased to welcome Head Coaches Scott Jones, Alfie Michaud and Dave Kennedy.
Scott Jones, Skills Coach
Scott has been teaching development for over twenty years and is currently the Vegas Golden Knights (NHL) skills coach, in charge of Skating and Skill Development, spending the majority of his time travelling across North America working with Vegas prospects in the AHL, CHL and NCAA. Scott is also the Director of Skill and Player Development with the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League and, during the offseason, he operates hockey schools for players U7 to U18.
Alfie Michaud,
Goalie Coach
Alfie Michaud has been goalie coach for the University of Maine since 2016-17. During his playing days with the Black Bears, Alfie won the NCAA National Championship in 1999. Alfie also spent parts of 16 years as a goaltender in the professional ranks, including stints with the Vancouver Canucks and the American Hockey League's Syracuse Crunch and Manitoba Moose. Since 2010 Alfie has offered private coaching through his Dream Catcher's Hockey clinics.
Dave Kennedy,
Goalie Coach
Dave has been a goalie coach for sixteen years at the Atom, Peewee, Bantam, Major Midget, High School, Junior A, Major Junior (Acadie Bathurst) and CIS (UdeM) level and is currently the Director of the Atlantic Goaltending Academy. He was the Goalie Coach for the Acadie Bathurst Titan when they won the Memorial Cup in 2018 and is currently the head goalie instructor for multiple Minor Hockey Associations.
Additional Goalie School Coaches
Maxime Ouellet is a former NHL and Team Canada World Junior goalie and current goalie scout for the Florida Panthers. Max also oversees all development and scouting for QMJHL goalies and trains QMJHL goalie coaches, and has spent the last 15 years as the goalie coach for various Professional and QMJHL teams. Max is also the personal goalie coach for more than a dozen pro and QMJHL goalies.
Additional Hockey School Coaches
Andre Lefebvre is currently the Hockey Development Professional with Bedford Minor Hockey and was recently the Head Coach of the Halifax Wolverines Major U15s and has an extensive background of coaching over the last 20+ years. He has also recently coached with Dalhousie Men’s Varsity (skills coach), the Cole Harbour Wolfpack (Major U18), the St. Mary’s Huskies (AUS) and was named the 2018-19 NS Major U18 Coach of the Year. He has also been a part of Hockey Canada’s 2017 National U17 Program Selection Camp and Hockey NS High Performance program.
Matt Anthony has spent the past four years as an assistant coach with the Cape Breton Eagles of the QMJHL. Before joining the Eagles, he spent two seasons as an assistant coach in the NSU18MHL with Dartmouth and Cole Harbour, five years as the head coach with Newbridge Academy U18 prep, five years as head scout for the Yarmouth Mariners (MHL) and also served as a skills coach for all ages at Newbridge for 5 years. Matt is a Certified Hockey Canada High Performance 1 Coach and has been an instructor at numerous hockey schools both locally and internationally.
Camp Director
Kyle MacLennan has been coaching the Pictou County Weeks U18 Major’s for the last number of years, has also been heavily involved with Hockey Nova Scotia’s U14, 15 and 16 High Performance Programs and has been a guest coach with Hockey Canada. Kyle will be responsible for all day-to-day activities at all hockey schools.
