All goalies will receive instruction from Dave Kennedy, Director of the Atlantic Goaltending Academy, plus online webinar instruction from Maxime Ouellet, goalie scout for the Florida Panthers. They and their staff of highly trained goalie coaches deliver a goalie school like none you have seen before.
Goalies will learn the latest techniques in goaltending from professional goalie coaches!
Previous camp attendees include:
NHL drafted goalies and numerous QMJHL goalies, University goalies, Jr. A goalies and Canada Games team goalies.
The Evolution Goalie School is entirely about goalie skill development with a focus on:
- Angles and positioning
- Lateral movement
- Puck tracking and save selection
- Rebound control
- Edge Work
- Puck handling
Goalies receive 3 hours of on-ice instruction per day as well as two off-ice sessions.
Off-ice sessions will consist of presentations on topics such as:
- Sports nutrition for elite athletes
- Sports psychology
- Stretching/warm ups
Off-ice sessions will also incorporate activities such as:
- Yoga
- Floorball
- Plus other extracurricular activities
Players will be responsible for their own water/snacks/lunch each day.
All players will receive a custom Evolution Hockey Schools jersey.
U7 to Junior goalies welcome. Groups will be made up of goalies of similar age and skill levels.
